Oven to the Rescue –
a 10 year success story

This month the Oven Rescue team are celebrating the wonder of Neil (Crawley & East Grinstead – Oven Specialist) for running his own successful franchise for 10 years. Neil was in need of a real opportunity having just been made redundant. The father of two wanted to be his own boss, provide for his family and have the job security he needed. Oven Rescue’s founder, Mike – who was at the beginning of his own journey – was cleaning Neil’s oven when it sparked a brilliant idea. It was a real family affair with Neil’s sister helping fund the franchise, and with a little help from Mike the rest is history. Now Neil is busy every day cleaning 3-4 ovens for very satisfied, loyal repeat customers. Neil was the first franchisee as their pilot scheme and now they can now boast a total of 20!

Neil hasn’t looked back and would encourage anyone to get in touch if they are thinking of turning things around for themselves in 2021.

As the first franchisee that Mike Harris welcomed into the Oven Rescue Group, this month I am celebrating 10 years with Oven Rescue West Sussex. Through hard work, determination to succeed and first rate support from the Oven Rescue Group on every level I now have a loyal client base who continue to be delighted with the professional cleaning services I am able to provide. The last 10 years working for myself and being my own boss have been great and it’s the Oven Rescue Group that have made it possible’. Neil Pickard

Speaking with Mike (the founder of Oven Rescue) it is clear that he has the utmost joy seeing his colleagues change their lives by becoming their own bosses.

“Seeing someone work hard and go from zero to hero in a year, providing for their family was heart-warming. Neil was so successful that he managed to take his family to South Africa to have a much needed catch up with loved ones he hasn’t seen in years. All I can say is a massive well done to him and all the other franchisees following in his footsteps, here’s to the next 10”
Mike Harris

It is still early days for the company as a whole, with definite room to grow and opportunities still in plenty of areas throughout the UK. As a start up franchisee you will be given all the tools, training, products and on-going support you need. As long as you have passion and enthusiasm you can take your business as far as you desire while working to your own diary and life commitments.
